We spent many hours at the agency planning a tour of Baikal, but it was worth it! The employee with whom we developed the program was very kind and very thorough, and so were her colleagues who tolerated staying for hours with the air conditioner off as I had a bad cold.
The excursion to the Circum-Baikal Railway was very interesting, I discovered that some of the architects who built the tunnels came from Friuli Venezia Giulia, the region where I live in Italy. Extremely cooperative staff and guides. During the days in Listvyanka, the speedboat trip to Peschanaya Bay was really exciting: wonderful landscapes, and the group, together with the guide, extremely close-knit. The visit to the "Taltsy Architectural and Etnographic Museum", the "Baikal Limnological Museum" and the "Aquariums", as recommended, very interesting.
But the most enchanting experience were the days spent on Olkhon Island. UAV excursions in the midst of dream landscapes, here too the driver-guide and group are very close-knit and affectionate. Excellent accommodation with large, clean room overlooking the lake. Everything went smoothly, the minibuses were always on time. An unforgettable and also inexpensive experience. I hope to return one day and maybe do it again!
